Wii Extension cables

What are Wii Extension cables?

In a largely wireless console like the Wii, you might have thought that there wouldn't be much call for extension cables – but we have several types available, to extend the cables for your Gamecube controllers, Wii Sensor Bar or extension cables and even Wii Nunchuk extension cables or Classic controller extensions (i.e. the cables between the Wii Remote and Nunchuk or classic controller).

Why would I want them?

In the case of the Gamecube controller cable, so you don't have to sit so close to the telly (just like your mum told you!). Extensions for the Sensor Bar cable allow you to mount the sensor bar further from the Wii – for example if you have a separate equipment rack away from your TV. This is especially useful for projector owners where the screen is almost certainly distant from the Wii. (The alternative in this case is a wireless sensor bar – see Wii Sensor Bar pages for these). Controller extension cables that fit between the Wii Remote (Wii remote) and Nunchuk or classic controller are also available – perhaps ideal for cases when you get a little over excited in Wii boxing and are finding the cable too restrictive.
